Dr. Feuerstein has already been advising foreign companies since 2005 with regard to their legal challenges in China and has built up an extensive network. He is one of the few German lawyers who has intensively focused on Chinese law already during legal training. His Ph.D. thesis on Chinese tort law was awarded the highest distinction (summa cum laude). Dr. Feuerstein is business fluent in Chinese. His professional expertise includes, but without limitation to, establishment and relocation of companies, restructuring of companies, M&A, intellectual property rights, commercial law, competition law, and labour law.

Dr. Feuerstein´s advisory services are, however, not restricted to China as he is, in cooperation with strong local partners, providing legal advice with regard to investment in South East Asia countries like Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and the Philippines as well.

Dr. Feuerstein regularly publishes on topics related to Chinese and Indonesian law and he is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars.

Dr. Feuerstein serves as arbitrator at the Shanghai Arbitration Commission (SHAC), the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Commission (SHIAC) and the Chinese European Arbitration Centre (CEAC).
