A lot of videos of celebrities speaking foreign languages appeared on the internet the other day, including videos of Guo Degang and Zhao Benshan, two famous Chinese comedians telling jokes in English and Taylor Swift and Donald Trump, two American celebrities speaking Chinese. Actually, these videos were made by using AI services of Heygen, a business founded by two Chinese people who graduated from Tongji University. However, when I visited Heygen’s website, I found internet users could not open the website in China or pay the service fee via WeChat or Alipay.
